Beth and Andy. These two are simply the sweetest, and the way they look at each other is like the heart-eyes emoji in real life! The kind of authentic love they share is why I love my job. So we were SO honored to be there to capture their beautiful day at the stunning Patapsco Female Institute. There was sun, rain, smiles, laughter, dancing, and a cake made of actual cheese! I loved the way they personalized their wedding with so many DIY and unique details.
From Beth: “Some of the things that made our wedding special: Our officiant (Baynard Woods) is a longtime friend and frontman of the Barnyard Sharks; we chose him as our officiant because we’ve learned so much about marriage from being so close with him and his wife, Nicole, who also did a reading in the ceremony. He’s also an accomplished writer and his shark name is Preacher Shark which is just too perfect. We have a layered cheese display in lieu of cake as we both really love cheese and Andy is a cheese professional, he worked as a cheese buyer/director at Roots Market, and we topped it with a personalized bobble head. The invitations, Save the Dates, and Programs were designed by me (Beth Harper Designs), and the bridal party helped us assemble the favors, which were DIY coasters.”
Check out all of this gorgeousness guys… starting with these amazing Badly Mischka shoes and stunning rose gold wedding bands- LOVE.
Beth designed all of the paper goods and stationary herself, she is so talented! Beth Harper Designs
Also check out the gorgeous necklaces Beth gifted her bridesmaids- so pretty!!
The florals by Crimson and Clover were just STUNNING. I was slightly obsessed with Beth’s bouquet!
Also, this could quite possibly be my new favorite venue. I love the open airy feel!!
Who needs wedding cake when you can eat cheese instead!? Love that they personalized their “cheese cake” with a custom made bobble head- so fun!
How beautiful are these DIY coaster favors that the wedding party helped them assemble- I love the blue tile!
Beth’s beautiful understated BDLHN gown was simply gorgeous.
GOSH I LOVE FIRST LOOKS. YES THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE ALL CAPS
They were able to see each other for the first time right before the rain started!
Beth’s band, The Barnyard Sharks, played the music for the ceremony. So awesome! Then there were some beautiful vows and happy tears <3
We had some SUN and fun at cocktail hour with the bridal party. Don’t ask me what is happening in most of these- I have no clue haha- all I know is their wedding party was awesome. And HOW CUTE are those flower girls?!?
And then after dinner we cried more happy tears from some beautiful speeches- especially the groom’s mom. She even made me cry.
Next was dancing- and you can leave it to these two musicians/ music lovers to have amazing taste in tunes!
And finally we topped of the night with some cutting of some cheese (teehee) and one last night portrait.
In her answers to a questionnaire, Beth described her wedding as relaxed, and it was. It was relaxed and fun and authentic. Beth and Andy’s day was full of love and laughter, and I know they will enjoy a lifetime together with more of the same <3
