Katie & Chris’s day was filled with love and laughter and a whole lot of gorgeous romantic details….oh, the most adorable 90+ pound “flower dog” hehe <3
I am admittedly obsessed with all things Anthropologie, so when I first met with these two and Katie described her wedding style as anthro-inspired, I was all about it. I couldn’t wait to see all of the details come together, and I was most certainly not disappointed!!
First off, Katie’s gorgeous Watters dress has pockets! LOVE.
Gotta love a laid back bride who mixes class with comfort with these Kate Spade sandals. And how gorgeous is this whimsical bouquet from Blush Floral Design?
I love that I happened to catch Katie’s grandfather getting a first look at her in her gorgeous gown! <3
Once everyone was prepped, we headed to Swan Harbor for Katie and Chris to do a first look!
The ceremony was heart felt and beautiful. Not gonna lie though, I got distracted by the cutest little flower girl and ring bearer duo sitting in the front row hehe. Also, how special is it that Katie and Chris got married on Katie’s grandparents’ wedding anniversary!?
Swan Harbor is stunning- so many places for gorgeous portrait opportunities!
Katie & Chris had a friend bring their adorable dog over to take some photos with them. As a dog owner myself, I am ALWAYS up for doggie flower girls, and I may have gone overboard with the photos with her but I couldn’t help myself haha!
Just love how these two look at each other <3
I am DYING over these photos with the entire bridal party including the pup!!!
Ad this one right here is literally my favorite, with the dog peeking out like “hey is there something important going on?”
After portraits, we were able to capture some of the gorgeous reception details. Some of my favorite things from their wedding are the handmade signage/seating chart by Katie’s Aunt, and that Chris’s signature drink is a can of Natty Light. Say what you will, but I am a Natty Light girl myself haha!
After some delicious dinner, dancing, and an awesome party, we ended the night with a few quick night photos in front of Swan Harbor. I always thank my lucky stars when my couples agree to take five minutes to get these special night portraits- they are so worth it!
Katie & Chris, thanks for giving us the honor of capturing your wedding day story. Your beautiful wedding day was heartfelt and joyful, and I know your marriage will be filled with the same joy and love for the rest of your lives! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Ogle!
