You GUYS. I know I say it every time I do a new styled shoot with my 2017 Luxe Team, but this just might be my favorite one yet. I love having the opportunity to work with such an awesome group of girls, spread my creative wings a little, and give these ladies not only some completely unique photos that no one else has, but also some really fun memories from their senior year!
This shoot especially has my heart because it has so much of “me” infused in it. From the colors to the location to the vibe- anyone who knows me can tell you, this shoot has Karen written all over it haha. I have been brainstorming about this one forever, but I had to wait until I could get all of the elements just right before I could pull the trigger- most notably, finding the perfect beachy location and finding a VW Bus to use. It took me over a year but finally I came across Wil, who so generously allowed us to use his *perfect* VW for the shoot! Not only is it in amazing condition, but it is even the perfect color turquoise! Check this beauty out. PS- Spoiler alert, we had the most amazing sunset!!!
I recruited 2016 KRP alum Aly to assist me with the shoot and she did an amazing job making the flower crowns! I added some bright colors, fun textures and bohemian and southwest prints and TONS of accessories from the KRP style closet, as well as a big dose of my other favorite summer color: yellow! Oh, and some fresh fruit, because why not?!
Love these girls and everything about this shoot. What better way to say goodbye to summer than to ride off into a golden sunset in a vintage VW with flowers in your hair?!
Since there were five gorgeous girls working with us on this one, I enlisted the help of my entire beauty team: Ashley Marie, Bethany from All Aglow Studio, and Carly from Pins-n-Brushes. Bethany even graciously loaned us her adorable salon space to use for prep! How stunning did these girls look? My beauty team is the best <3
PS- Stay tuned for the video coming soon that will give you a glimpse into the KRP Luxe Team experience! Ethan Wise from Wise Films was there with us that day, too and I can’t wait to show you what he and his team captured!
Thank you to everyone who helped make this vision come to life and took part in all the fun! Peace out Summer 2016 <3
